The School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, recognise the critical importance of having a common collaborative platform for audit and quality assurance of clinical learning environments across Europe and more widely. SHS has partnerships globally, including ERASMUS agreements with institutions in eight countries. The Group has great number of collaborative projects with the National Biomedical Research Centre for Hearing, Learning Sciences Research Institute, Behavioural Sciences, Open University and numerous NHS partners. The DICE focuses on innovation in the delivery of education and practice. UoN participates in the project through the Health E-Learning and Media (HELM) team, and the Digital Innovations in healthCare and Education (DICE) research group based in the School of Health Sciences. SHS has 200 staff and 3,000 undergraduate and post graduate students. SHS is one of the leading centres for health care education and scholarship in the UK. UoN received the Gold award for a recent government Teaching Excellence Framework and has a reputation for putting internationalisation at the heart of all its activities working with over 320 institutions in more than 40 countries to create opportunities for student exchange.
